Kretz On The Deluxe Edition DVD
« on: May 31, 2010, 04:35:10 AM »
I just got done watching the interviews on the Deluxe Edition DVD, and about halfway through I got to noticing that Eric hadn't said anything in response to any of the questions, and I kept waiting to see if he'd chime in on anything.

I've seen him quoted in articles and so on, but is he just that laid back where he'll let the others answer questions if they're being interviewed as a group? I just don't know if I should feel bad for the guy or if he keeps quiet because that's just how he is.
The answers get harder and the truth's getting farther and farther...

I think he's more of a "speak when spoken to" guy.

He's under a contractual obligation that he gets waterboarded by the rest of the band if he speaks during an interview
When STP had a cookout after filming the video for the Core single "Plush," Weiland made jerk chicken that was "spectacular," Dean raves.

The band has a custom made shock-collar thats built into the back of his neck. If he's asked a question, each band member has a small remote they can tap to de-activate the charge. Otherwise, it will deliver 200 volts to his body.

You don't have to feel sorry for the guy, there's people who rather watching and listening to others talking. And talk only when there's the need to or someone asks something. Or if they're in a room with no more than 2 or 3 people. And if it's like me, he also hates people wondering why he doesn't talk more often  :D
