Robert & Dean DeLeo will be among the performing artists at the December 10 Grammy Jam honoring 22-time Grammy award winner Stevie Wonder. The ceremony will be held at L.A.'s Orpheum Theater and tickets are available to the general public by calling 5B Events at 310-550-9334. All proceeds will benefit the Entertainment Industry Foundation's National Arts and Music Education Initiative. Other performing artists are Eric Benet, Herbie Hancock, Heather Headley, Chris Brown, Angie Stone, Tamia, Aaron Neville, George Benson, Slash, George Duke, Josh Groban, Raphael Saadiq, Hootie & the Blowfish and Ray Parker Jr.

What an exciting event.  I really don't think it would be awkward between the Deleo's and Slash, actually quite the opposite.  If they do converse, they would probably ask about how each other's  bands are doing and how happy they are they for one another.  

I wonder if this will be televised.  This is something MTV or VH1 should broadcast, but because MTV (aka MUSIC Television) and VH1 don't play MUSIC anymore, I bet I won't be able to see it.

I know Slash didn't show up, but I believe Robert and Dean also did not attend nor perform at this event.
