To be honest that video is exactly what I thought about when I saw this existed. Regardless, it's something new.

Has anybody actually heard Drop The Funk? The more I consider it, the more I'm kiiiinda leaning towards it being the tune Dirty Dog. It doesn't talk about dropping any funk, but includes lyrics about getting up with that funk.

Did Scott really write words to 2 different tunes involving getting up and also down with the funk?

I was thinking the same thing. About Dirty Dog and Drop The Funk, they are both on the track list here, so I’m leaning towards believing that they are different songs, yet we’ll never know for sure until these recordings surface.

Hahhhh, awesome to know that it's a different song and that there still remains some stuff out there we haven't heard.

Pretty good take on the lyrics!! I got nothing to add. Delightfully cringey, nothing lamer than the band name self-referencing....
