And I love Lounge Fly as much as the next guy (probably my favorite song off my favotire album) but I think Down is a better opener/lead in to the encore.

How about take Wicked Garden off and putting Lounge Fly in front of Between the Lines?

yeah i got yah, we all have our differnt setlist dreams, were all guilty of beating the dead horse about it  ;D .

Yah I am surprised they have kept wicked garden on the set for this long, I dont understand why they wouldnt switch up a few of the hits with other songs to keep it interesting for them. Oh well, we know thats all on scott.

I've said this for the last ten years. They should open the show or the encore with No Memory, then follow it right into Down! I created a STP mix-tape many moons ago opening with No Memory followed by Down, and I thought it was so bad ass.
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

First post here.  I personally miss when they used to open with Crackerman and close with Sex Type Thing, but that's just me.  I do think that Down would be a great opener though.  I was glad to hear in the interview with Eric that they're planning to bring back the acoustic set in their shows.  Some songs just sound better acoustic.

I think that if they don't use down or d&b as an opener they should stick with silvergun.  PErsonally I think the two I said earlier would be the best, but silvergun does a great job.   I think Big empty should be saved for an acoustic set in the middle of the show along with wonderful and one or two others.

Agreed. Although opening with Silvergun is pretty damn cool too.

You know, thinking back on the 2008 tour....Big Empty was a sick opener.  Really set the tone and atmosphere for a roller coaster type show.  I'd say Big Empty, Down, or Coma, if asked to pick songs that needed to be played as openers.
Picked a song, sang a yellow nectarine.

Crackerman will always be a classic opener. Would be nice to hear Meatplow or Silvergun open though with Between the Lines in the 2nd or 3rd spot.

Crackerman
Meatplow
Between the Lines
Heaven & Hot Rods

That'd be a nice start to a show..

I always liked crackerman as the opener.  I saw a show back in 02 right before their "hiatus" that had them open a show with Loungefly which was really cool.

If you go on youtube and type crackerman springbreak youll find a video where they performed for Mtv on spring break and opened up with crackerman.  It does a great job as an opener.  Just pure energy!
