One of my favorite songs on the record, just amazing stuff.  I like the vibe of the 2nd disc.

I am really digging the vibe of the second disc too. I would go as far to say it is pretty flawless, minus Be Not Afraid.

Be Not Afraid is on the first disc. Its an honest damn mistake.

I love about 95% of the first disc, and the 2nd is almost flawless

No, it's on the 2nd disc of the deluxe edition. It's on the only disc of the regular album, which I guess technically is the first.

Correct. I was referring to the deluxe edition.

No read what RGF030 said. He said Be Not Afraid is on the first disc, but it's on the second disc on the deluxe version. And the only disc of the lame version that I only had on my computer til I could get my hands on the double disc.

What is he softly saying at the end of this song?
All that first class jet-set brings me down, down down,
All that first class drug shit brings me down...

At first when I heard it I fell to the ground in shame but then I kept listening to it and his voice is really beautiful in the song. The song never used to affect me until I went to a funeral and they played it, to say the least I was a mess. Overall I think that it was a good choice to showcase his vocal range (maybe I'm looking too much into this) but also to offer a different meaning to the song. It's not just some church song anymore to me at least.

Well ill be a goddamn motherfucker. I only bought the standard edition. Be Not Afraid is a tune that I really never listen to. Fir the standard release stuff, I would have to say my favorite track on the album is Arch Angel. That tune gives me chills. The deluxe stuff...Some Things Must Go This Way blows my mind.

As I mentioned before I love how Scott repeats his lyrics in different songs. Just gotta watch out for them! Always loved this dreamy song!

He really made that song his own.  It definitely has a mood that the original doesn't have.

It's a "Sentimental Halos" topic, but I need to say that Arch Angel is my favorite Scott's solo song to date. It brings back some bittersweet memories and gives me chills every time I listen to it.
As for "SH" - it has grown on me just recently. Love this song.

Yeah ditto

I tried listening to it loud through headphones and I still can't make it out.

Sounds like a question for Doug.
