My name is Gavin I have been reading this forum for a while and have finally taken the initiative to register. 

I have been listening to STP for a solid year now.  I got into them from GH2.  If I am not a "true" fan, I am sorry.  But as soon as I played trippin, I fell in love with it.

Since then, I have gotten every album of theirs and have fallen in love with them.

When there were rumors of an STP tour, I was sooooo excited.  I was praying for a reunion soo badly.  I like to think I predicted the reunion in a way.  In school we had to make an advertisement on a poster, and I did an STP 2008 tour promo poster.  This was before I knew about the rumor.  I will get a picture of it one day and post it here.

I'm also going to see STP on May 31st in NJ.  I'm sooo excited for that.

Hey it's nice to meet a new fan! It's pretty cool that you found them out through a video game. It's always nice to hear how people found out about STP so welcome to the board. :)

Haha.  That's hysterical that you got into them from GHII. 

I have a horrible time playing that song on there - the red and blue buttons together kill me every time.  Too hard to make those fingers work together.

That part was sooo fun.  That actual part made me like the song.  I liked the rhythm of the guitar and I liked the note chart.

Now I have fun playing the STP songs in Rock Band! (Vasoline, Interstate, Sex Type Thing)  I especially like to sing them, hehe.

i dont like the concept of true fan as far as it makes a band be owned by the 'real fans', like the rest lack of rights to see them or listen to the music XD so if you love the band, you're a real fan, thats it xD
im happy you're gonna see tham in just 6 days!! you see? thats your chance to enjoy as a fan ^^ i mean, i've been waiting for something like that for a quite bunch of years. have a good time!
