My mother mysteriously ended up with a RS subscription awhile ago... and no one knows where it came from... but I'm sure happy we've got it!

i have a free subscription to RS

i got it because i bought tickets to a concert at the Cleveland House of Blues

They also have been sending me 2 others due to other shows i have attended.

i am kind of sick of recieving all these shitty magazines honestly. i have the internet. So by the time they print something and send it out, it's 2 weeks old.

Haha it's funny for me reading the posts about RS because it mysteriously started showing up in the mail after a ticketmaster order & I thought I was being charged for it for the longest time

I want the name of the douchebag that said "Cool hair, man - it's rockin."  Then, I want to locate said douchebag and slap him silly.  It's NOT rockin, as we well know, and there's nothing cool about it.  My poor little Weiland looks like a cancer patient with that see-through blonde.

I want to know about this "film" he did.  My guess it that Dean had a video camera in hand while Weiland was gearing up for the tour and dying his head.  I think that's the film he's talking about.
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!

Sounds like a documentary more than an actual film.

From Scott's IMDB page:

Unsung: Bob and the Monster

Plot summary: Some of music's most respected artists from Tom Waits, Iggy Pop, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Scott Weiland to Steve Earle, John Doe, and The Counting Crows have declared Bob Forrest as one of the most talented songwriters of our time. His band, Thelonious Monster, started in the mid 80's as indie-rock heroes, played thousands of shows - some brilliant some train wrecks, made a few records and ultimately watched their friends and peers catapult to fame and fortune while they fell behind in a chaotic mess of addiction. Bob tried to continue creating with the passion and love of music alone, but expectations, envy, resentments and drugs got the best of him by the early 90's, Bob disappeared into alcoholism, drug addiction, television and dirty dishes. Then one day, miraculously, he woke up and cleaned up after more than thirty stints in rehabs. Attempts to get different jobs as a concert promoter, delivery man and truck driver fell flat and friends repeatedly reminded him that he was a songwriter, not a messenger. After meeting a young musician and fan named Josh Klinghoffer, who had a genuine love of music, Bob slowly began writing again. Soon afterward, the now clean and sober Bob with his new band, Bicycle Thief, released their debut, You Come And Go Like A Pop Song, in 1999. Pop Song conjured images of Lou Reed and Paul Westerberg and received rave reviews. The band played shows with Neil Young, RHCP, Stone Temple Pilots and Iggy Pop, but this time, got lost in the shadows of the "flavor of the month" music industry. Bob took his recovery seriously and soon found another calling as an addiction specialist and began working with the Musician's Assistance Program, which helps musicians recover from drug and alcohol addiction. He was the recipient of MAP's highest honor for his work in that field and continues to serve as a counselor and addiction specialist in a Southern California treatment center, and is the featured counselor on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew Pinksy. Through interviews with Bob, friends and fellow musicians, rare live and archive footage, "Unsung: Bob and the Monster" tells the story of Bob Forrest, a creative soul who rose from the ashes of his self-destruction to live a life that never seemed possible.

Woah.  Thanks for that.

Something about that summary of the documentary tells me Scott's hair DID NOT have to be George Washington white for his role, though.

That's how mine showed up, until I traced it back to Ticketmaster.

At least the extortionists are good for something. :P

he didn't look all drunk or drugged like everyone is saying

I agree, he looked pretty normal to me. Everyone also keeps saying his voice is shot, and he isnt singing/dancing, but he seemed pretty damn good vocally in that clip, to me anyway. Watching these new live performances onstage I can tell he has that special sort of magic back that I missed when he was with VR. STP just goes together sooo much better.
