Unlike most of you guys here, I was a little disappointed with this show. I saw them in Camden about two weeks before the PNC disaster and I thought they were solid there except for a few lyrical mixups during Down and a few other songs. At Jones Beach, Scott seemed a little disappointed with the crowd who seemed to lack energy, maybe it was only around my section (11R). A lot of people were just sitting bored. I guess you can't blame them when Scott's rambling incoherently during songs and changing how he sings the end of Big Bang Baby. I really liked hearing Silvergun Superman. I've seen them about 8 times since 2000 and I think that I might avoid seeing them until they play another club show again. I know that the last few shows they did before their hiatus were mainly "greatest hits" shows with Big Bang Baby and Lounge Fly being thrown in. I wanna hear Dancing Days again and Pop's Love Suicide and Meatplow, Tumble in the Rough, Unglued and all that other good stuff. But no more Sin, please. no more Sin lol. Btw, steph I liked your blog post about the show, especially about how you compared the PNC show to bad pizza lol. Oh, there were a LOT of young kids at the show, like emo-looking girls. Anyways, let's hope that they stick around after the tour ends.
