This is one of the tour dates that were announced on April 8 after the band's press conference and performance at the Harry Houdini Estate in Los Angeles.

Since the show at the Fillmore is sold out, me and my cousin were considering going to this one instead. If anyone knows whether it is at the Soaring Eagle's outdoor or indoor venue I'd appretiate the info!

I have tickets to this show, its indoors, small venue with a bar in the back and general admission is also in the back. All reserved seating all the way to the stage. There will not be a bad seat in the house because its so small. Hope this helps! Is anyone already going to this show?

Hey,
chetstp7 thanks a lot for the info! By the way, I bought my tickets a couple of weeks ago, so me and my two cousins are going to be there. This will be my third time seeing Stone Temple Pilots on their reunion tour. I'm sure this show is going to be just as good as the other two. Hopefully you have a blast there this Friday! I know I will!  : )

Man, I didn't realize we had more Michiganders here.
Where are you kids from? I'm in Bay City.

Sadly, unless a miracle happens, I won't be there on Friday.
Enjoy. I'll be sitting here moping around all day.

You still haven't figured out a way to get out of your plans and get with Weiland?  Oooh no!  :(
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!

The other plans were pushed back a week, then canceled the other day. And now its too late to get tickets.

This will be my 6th show, I cant wait for friday. I will be 7 rows back from the stage a little left of center. Every time I have gone to see STP I have been in front of Robert, which is great because he is more animated live than he is given credit for, but just once being in front of Dean would be nice. To answer someones previous question on this post, I am coming from Lansing/Holt.

Excellent show, same set list as before. It was rumored that the tour bus had broke down and they would be late. The show was to start at 8, but there was no opening act. Show actually started closer to 9. Scott came out wearing a "Fox skin rug" and indian apparel and wore it for the first two songs. Im pretty sure he couldnt see with the fox head flapped over his face! Robert kept accepting beers from the crowd, even played his bass for a little bit with the beer bottle. Anyways, great show, probably the best I have seen them do.

First off, I write this reply about the Soaring Eagle show after reading the stories of what happened in
Phoenix.  The Mt. Pleasant show was my 7th STP show, and I must say, the best performance I've seen
from the band.  The 7th row center tix were a plus, and overall, I'd say the concert as a whole was the
best live rock show I have ever attened.

But there were some WEIRD points that bothered me.

A few times during the show, Scott would just start rambling.  If you were there, you might know what
I'm talking about.  Just before the band played "Coma", Scott went into this 3-4 minute rant about
"stage monitors".  Half the stuff he said was hard to hear.  It was odd to say the least.  I got the impression that he was out-of-it, and didn't realize that what he was saying was weird, and out of place.
He did botch up lyrics a few times, but the show overall was awesome.

As a fan of STP, I'm just wondering when Scott's clock will just stop ticking.  I wish the best for him and
the band, but as a fan I wonder:

1)  Will STP do another record?
2)  Will Scott get himself into trouble AGAIN?  (DRUGS, BOOZE, DUI -- you pick the offense)
3)  Or is this the last STP tour the fans will ever see?

Your thoughts?
