Free album download with concert ticket purchase

As some of you who bought tickets for the upcoming tour may have seen, a ticket purchase get's you a free download of the new album.


By any chance, do any of you know how this is going to work? Has any news been posted how to get your free download from your ticket?

They'll probably send a link or code on or around the release date from which to download it.

Last summer I saw the RHCP and Metallica, both with the same promotion, I didn't get the email about redeeming the album until a few weeks after I bought the tickets.

In some instances, they will give you the option of a physical copy or a download (I prefer physical copies). I don't think there is that option for STP though.

I'm seeing STP this coming Monday in SF, which will get me a free download of the album, but I'm awfully tempted to go buy the Best Buy version for the extra 2 songs.


I wonder if Thursday Night/Friday Morning at 12AM, if the email or site notification will go out how to download the album. Just 6 days to go!

I listened to them on the drive home from Best Buy. I can see why they were cut to be honest, but I like them nonetheless. How about you? What are your favorites on the album? Six Eight stands out beyond anything else for me.
