I'm seriously heartbroken over this.  My two biggest musical heroes, Tom Petty and Scott Weiland, are now gone.   :(

Rock in Peace, Tom.
If you should die before me ask if you could bring a friend.
Pick a flower hold your breath and drift away.

I feel the same way Kretzl. What a shitty day! I am a sentimental person but, behind closed doors usually and this all hits a lil too close to home. I spent last week in the hospital with my father over a heart attack and almost lost him. He is the reason that I am a half assed musician and my gauge but, Tom and Scott opened my eyes to see that music is art like paint on a canvas. You never know when it's your time. It puts shit into perspective. I feel like I just gotta stay inside because I just can't stop crying about this. I haven't felt like this since Scott and before that it was Dimebag. I suppose that they are a really big part of who I am, musically and there is no one even comparable to Tom and the boys' dynamic on a recording. I just keep listening to this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSvlJe1mwlw
