After spinning the album for a couple of hours.. Middle o' Noer, Meadow, Just a Little Lie, Thought She'd Be Mine, The Art Of Letting Go really stand out for me. Overall the album has a nice flow. I think Gutt was the right choice. It suits this refreshing direction they were aiming for. The only down thing is there isn't a crushing hit on the album. Too early to tell where it stands in the STP album ranking but it's a good release (imo).

Listening to the full album. 4 or 5 stand out tracks so far. The rest need more 'absorbing'..

The concert ticket/album combo might boost up the album sales a bit. I'm thinking somewhere around 35 - 50k, but people just don't buy albums anymore. Many reasons for that, internet, mediocre releases (especially in rock music) just the overall state of rock has been unispiring ..

the verse/bridge/chorus sound like three dif. pieces stitched together (first listen)

Anyway i'll hold back on a review since the album is only a week away or should i say a matter of days..

Wanna hear the full album so i can get a more solid opinion.

So it appears to be the next single on iTunes that somehow got released earlier in other countries.

Personally I hope they do not continue under the STP moniker. No one will ever come close to SW no matter how fucked up he was. Kinda of a similar situation to AIC 10 years ago. But AIC were lucky enough to find an otherwise sympathetic frontman like Duvall. And what are the chances of STP finding their own? Plus on top of that they'll need to up their writing game that has been stale for some years now. Otherwise they'll be dragging the already troubled STP legacy into dangerous grounds and might lose the few remaining fans left..

Core - No Memory
Purple - None
Tiny - Press Play
No.4 - Church on Tuesday - bit repetitive for my likes..
Shangri -  Wonderful or A Song for Sleeping ...zzzz
S/T - Dare If You Dare, Cinnamon, Fast As I Can, First Kiss On Mars .. can't decide which one is the worst of the bunch
