Played Shows 1992-2012 / Re: 2010-09-03 - Atlantic City, NJ - Borgata
« on: September 03, 2010, 08:20:22 AM »
I'm soooooo READY!!! If you've never been to The Borgata, you're in for a treat!! The venue is AWESOME!! I have seen STP so many times, from NJ to Calif. and the shows at The Borgata have ALWAYS been their best. What makes it so good is that they LOVE playing this venue...and they are the first to say it...!!! I would also love to meet up with some of my fellow STP lovers... I'll be there  ;D ...We're staying over tonight and tomorrow night and then heading home to north Jersey on Sunday and making a pit stop to see them again @ PNC Sunday night!!! I CAN'T WAIT!! If anyone is planning a get to together before the show please let me know...Enjoy everyone!!  :)

I have been out on the west coast taking care of my sick mother-in-law for the past six weeks so I've been "outta touch" for a while. Is there gonna be a pre-sale for this show? I was away last year when they played the Borgata...missed an awesome show :( ...I would appreciate any info!!! Thanks

Does anyone know anything about this FAST LANE  that we have access to for the show ??? All it says is that we don't have to wait in line....but I would think anyone that purchased a ticket for the show thru Live Nation would have access to it also...

If he wants to date young girls he should at least pick an attractive one.

For example: http://siddman.files.wordpress.com/2007/08/p202.jpg

yeesh, I dunno... she kinda scares me.

She's a little TOO perfect..... :P

If anyone is interested, I have extra tickets for the Fillmore. I have 2 sets I am trying to get rid of. Of course,  I'm selling them for what I paid for them. My email is xmasbabe56@aol.com.  Thanks :)

Happy In Galoshes / Press reviews
« on: November 10, 2008, 08:50:56 PM »
I looked through the posts real fast and I didn't see this posted anywhere...I just hope it's not a duplicate. Sorry if it is ...IMO, I think he hits it right on the head with his review. Granted, he's a "nobody" but I think it's an excellent review

What's great about it: Scott Weiland offering up his own flavor ambient retro art
What's not so great: He should not be so afraid to draw from his inspirations that got him to this point.

"Scott brings to the table a nice dish of psychedelic pop that soothes soul without his creativity being guided by any band mates or record labels. If you have already established yourself as a fan of Weiland’s art you will enjoy this record, despite him stating that this record could possibly alienate some STP fans.

And like any true artist he is working with great subjects musically that assist him with capturing his vision. There is nobody trying to strangle his songs with guitar solos or backing vocals. It is Scott truly at his best and must have for your collection.

The overall vibe from this record is everywhere. It takes you to many places with all the variety of The Beatles “White Album” with the vocal presence of David Bowie.

Your favorite song will definitely depend on your mood as this album is varying.
But it will indeed make you “Happy”!"

Ya I wonder where all the first 5 rows went.

I went on and kept trying, eventually I got the back row, K, of the 300s. Whatever, I'll be there having fun regardless of my seat.

Like it was said already, there isn't a bad seat in the house. Anywhere you sit is gonna be a great seat..

What's the closest seats anyone got?  I called and ordered right at 10 and the closest I got was Row M Section 200....I mean the place is small and there's pretty much not a bad seat in the house but still...

I guess I was LUCKY...I went on right at 10:00 and the first seats that came up were sec 100 row E seats 101-102...prob the worst seats in the place....I tried again right away and sec 300 row H seats 305-306, which are pretty damn good seats...I purchased them...For the hell of it I went back on at 10:40 and tried again...This time SECTION 200 ROW E-- SEATS 208 and 209 came up...YES!!  FIFTH ROW CENTER.... I freaked out..My hands were shaking so bad trying to put my info in that I tought I might lose them...But I didn't...I still can't believe those seats came up out of NOWHERE. Just for the hell of it I kept trying on and off for like an hour and a half but the same shitty seats kept coming up. It's almost as if they blocked out the whole 200 (center) section. It just goes to show you that anything can happen when it comes to buying these tix...I have to say tho, this has NEVER happened to me before...5th row center for $32.00 a ticket ?...Needless, I'm friggin happy !! Anyone that's holding out for good seats, just go on a couple times a day and give it a shot....Good Luck !!
