Scott Weiland / Re: What religion is Scott?
« on: August 05, 2008, 12:34:40 AM »
I believe Scott is like a lot of Catholics - what Denis Leary refers to as a "lapsed Catholic". We believe in everything the religion says yet we've had it with the "organized" part

If his autobiography is done right it'll be a bestseller.

The consensus seems to be Bowie! How about them revamping Space Oddity?!?

The more I hear about the Mohegan SUn show the more I think that the Wallingford show I saw was the better of the 2 shows

Since Rolling Stone is a thinly veiled music mag what music mag in everyone's opinion seems to be the best?

Shangri-LA DEE DA / Re: 'Wonderful'
« on: July 09, 2008, 03:00:22 PM »
I totally agree that "wonderful" is one of their best songs, maybe one of their most underrated. I seem to have the opinion that a lot of the songs on #4 and Shangri-la-di-da were underrated.

In CT (both shows) it was a HORRIBLE progressive rock band called "Jays Museum". It was a 3 piece - 2 drummers and a keybordist/vocalist/guitarist who sang like he had been gargling with gravel his whole life.  His voice was unintelligable. During their set more people were out in the lobby than in the arena.

Thanks to Kazualty for posting the link to that performance. Thanks to that (and Toatal Recorder&Audacity) it is now on my mp3 player in perfect quality!

Does anyone know if "Hello, its late" was a hit or just a single they released? How well did it do? It is one of my all time favorite STP songs

Wallingford show was incredible. I would love a boot of this!

I actually love "Still Remains". I think the lyrics are some of their best. Also "and so I know" from "Tiny Music". I think it might be some of my favorite guitar work.
